Madness with the Maki's

Disneyland!

One week after Christmas we headed out for DISNEYLAND!! We left on New Years Day. There were 22 of us...and we had an awesome trip! {Despite how crowded the park was...we need to learn to not going during peak seasons!}

We had such a great trip...minus our trip home! The bus forgot us, we had to take $130 taxi, we almost missed the plane and we had two sick boys! But we made it home safe and sound! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa for taking us. We'll always cherish the fun memories we made!!

CHRISTMAS!!

Santa came to visit the Maki house!

And after waking our night owls up at 8 am...they were VERY excited!

We had been asking for Ninja turtle swords and masks for MONTHS!!

Grandma Jana & Grandpa Andy took us all to Disneyland as part of our present! They also got the boys fun Mickey shirts, books, a new Mickey blanket and lots of fun Disney things!

Didn't take us long to have our clothes off and playing Ninja Turtles!

After we opened present Grandma, Grandpa, Corkey, Beve & Jordan came over for breakfast and more fun presents! {I didn't take any pictures!} Then we attempted a nap before Christmas dinner at Grandpa Cork's house. It was a beautiful day so Mason go to test out his new bike! Dinner was delicious and Kevin's whole family was there! It was great to celebrate Christmas with everyone. We are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends!

Sick Baby!

My poor Miller got a NASTY case of croup in December! What an awful and scary illness! He could barely breath and I couldn't keep his temp down so we took him to his pediatrician who told us it was croup and that if he got any worse he's have to go to ER for breathing treatment and steroids.

Well he got worse...

We got some breathing treatments, a steroids shot and hydration! But he was still having "striders at rest" (a hard time breathing) after six hours in the ER. So they were worried he might need a breathing tube so they sent us up to Portland.
