We leave for the hospital in an hour (4:30 am) and I have barely slept a wink. I am uncomfortable and as the hours slowly tick by I realize that I am becoming more and more nervous. I have said many prayers over the past nine months and prayer that all those will be answered today.
This is my "journal" if you will, and I need to mention all the crazy feelings I am having. (Maybe its just the hormones and lack of sleep...) I am sad to be leaving Mason this morning. Knowing that he will no longer be my baby. He is such a sweet boy and I cherish every moment I have had with him over over the past two years. As today has approached I have often thought of our birth experience with him...what a fighter he was and what a blessing he is. Although, my patience has not been what it should the past few months, I want him to know how much I love him and what a great big brother I know he will be!
I am also feeling very excited (and anxious...explain the lack of sleep!) to meet Miller. I have been trying to imagine what you'll look like, weigh, what your personality will be like... I just can't wait to hold you and have you here safe and sound. Only a few more hours of waiting...
My husband is laying here snoring as I "blog" my emotions at 3:30 in the morning. I am so grateful to have him by my side and to raise two incredible sons together. I pray that today will be a great day for him...he was so traumatized when Mason was born and I know he is terrified for today.
Please say a prayer for us today and the next time I post it will be about our sweet baby Miller. Wish us luck! Oh and because I can't have a post without a picture (or two...) here is Shery and I last night, 35 weeks and 39 weeks. And Mason's last picture with brother in mommy's tummy...hopefully he is still full of kisses when he meets him!
