BIG CHANGES!

About a month ago Kev and I saw a "For Sale by Owner" sign for some property. We thought, oh what the heck lets go look. We called the number... went and looked... AND fell in LOVE! It is 2.89 acres with a big barn and PRIVACY! We started trying to figure out the logistics... And a month later {with the help of my parents!} we will be closing! We sign papers on Monday and could not be happier! I have resigned to the fact that Kev will never leave Knappa so this will be our forever home! {even though there is no home...YET!}After tossing around our options we have decided to list our house and pray for the best! We will see if we can get it sold and then BUILD! We know this could be a LONG process but it will be so worth it in the end!

Before...

We were planning on painting the old yellow house this summer anyway...but this has put everything in overdrive. Kevin has worked so hard to get our home ready to list. We'll miss our little yellow house! We have spent five years here and brought home two babies! It was our first home together and we have so many wonderful memories here. But we are so excited for our new adventure and more space! 

After...

Zoo Day!

We got to spend the day at the zoo on Thursday! We got Kevin concert tickets for a Lee Brice concert in the zoo for his birthday in May. The concert tickets included admission to the zoo for the day! We had a great time. The weather was beautiful. The boys loved the animals! And the concert was good {but past the boys bedtime} so we didn't last the whole time! It was also quite crowded and people were not very friendly {overly pushy} when it came to finding a spot on the lawn! All in all it was a fun trip but we hurried back to finish painting the house and get it on the market!

Swimming Lessons - Week One!

We just finished week one of swimming lessons at the Clatskanie Pool! Mason has LOVED it! He is a water baby! He even went under water and got the dive sticks on his first try! He was so proud of himself! We have a had a great first week and can't wait for next week!

4th of July FUN! We went to Clatskanie Heritage Day's for their parade and YUMMY lunch! Then took the ferry across the river and spent the evening with the Adkins family in Long Beach! The boys had a blast playing on the beach with Kasyn! {Mom didn't take any pictures!} Then we drove home and watched {delayed} fireworks from the car on 16th street! It was a busy but FUN day!

It has been a great summer so far! Next month will be another busy one! Painting the house, listing the house, swim lessons, anniversary, concert at the zoo, my family coming to visit...bring on August! We can't wait for all our upcoming adventures!
