Fishing...S'mores...Birthday Parties!

Sayge and Shaylee are here for a few days and we have had quite a busy weekend! Kevin went fishing with his family Saturday morning and the girls got to watch him clean his fish. Shaylee was very disgusted! Then we had a a birthday party for Kevin's great grandma...followed by an afternoon at the movies! We went and saw Ice Age 3 with the girls and our cousin Tanner. The kidos had a great time! Sunday we went to a Surprise birthday party for Kevin's Mom. She is the big 5..0! The girls have had alot of fun but are wiped out! They slept in this morning and tonight we are having ANOTHER birthday party for SAYGE! She is seven today and Kevin's family is coming over to our place for a BBQ tonight. Sayge is very excited =] And tomorrow Kevin is going to take them out on the river and go fishing (again)...Shaylee is really excited to ride in the boat but is already asking if she has to wear the life jacket. She doesn't like that part!

4th of July Weekend...

So for the fourth Skye, Becca and my two adorable nephews came down to visit. It was so fun having them here. Friday was nice and relaxing...we went on a walk and then had a BBQ that night, followed my smores (my favorite) at my in-laws. Then Saturday Kev took Skye and Becca out at 4am to go steelhead fishing. They caught three..but they were all native fish so they had to release them. I got the boys ready and we went down to the dock about ten and then we spent ALL day on the river. Kev's family all came out and we had such a good time! His Uncle Dave and Brenda were down visiting, his parents, Beve & Jordan, Uncle Gordan and Jeri, Chris & Tera and their kiddos. We were all tired by the end of the day. But we came home and showered up...removed all the sand plastered on EVERYTHING and we ALL sleept great!

Bryce found our dog Molly's dog food and decided it looked pretty yummy! He started dunking it in the water to soften it up and then was eating it. I guess we were taking too long to get dinner ready...haha!

First week of SUMMER...=]

My mom, little sisters, aunt, a few cousins and future bro-in-law all came up for the weekend and we had a great time having everone visit! We went fishing, had a BBQ, Kev made the girls a swing in our back yard and we went down to the jetty. Shery also cut and colored Lynsi's hair in my back yard! She is getting quite good =]

It was fun having everyone here and I am glad my mom and the girls get to stay for a week!

Sayge and Shaylee's Fishing Adventure...

My mom and two youngest sisters are here visiting for a week. They got here Saturday night and Kevin left for work Monday morning. They have been asking Kev to take them fishing forever so on Sunday afternoon we took them out. We didn't have any luck at the creek so Kev took them down to Brownsmead and they got to catch some little perch. They were so EXCITED! It made their trip =] We have been having fun and are going down to the beach today. Too bad Oregon coast weren't a little warmer...at least it isn't raining tho =]

Golfing...

After our trip to Burns last weekend we got to stop by Sunriver for a night and visit Kevin's brother Beve and his girlfriend Jordan. We spent the day golfing. I hadn't golfed since my high school golf team. It wasn't too awful but it definitely could have been better! We had a lot of fun tho =]

Sturgeon Fishing...

Today we went sturgeon fishing! It was my first official day of summer and Kev woke me up at 4 am and we spent the morning on the river. We didn’t have a ton of success but we did get one little guy. He was only 30 in. so we had to put him back (38in-54in are keepers). I am not a patient fisherman but we had a good time =] Kev hooked into the one we got and I got to reel him in. We had a couple other bites but didn’t hook into anything else. Hopefully next time we’ll get a BIG one!

Burns Visit...

This weekend we went to Burns to visit my family. We went to my cousins graduation, celebrated Shery's birthday, took family pics and got a new car! A ford edge...which I am quite excited about =] Here is a few pics of the weekend...my husband managed to stay out of all of them!
