We have a DRIVEWAY!!

Grandpa Andy came to help us put in our driveway and lay our water line and power conduit. He left Burns at 9 pm on Monday night - took a nap on Mt. Hood and got to our house at 6 am Tuesday morning.

They started with the water line...

Mason was so excited to see Grandpa Andy! He started shrieking with joy when he saw him and yelled "Grandpa Andy is here and he brought a excavator that is JUST MY SIZE!!"

They dug test holes for the DEQ - which was a bit of a nightmare to say the least. BUT {fingers crossed} we think it will all work out! 

The ripped out the huge old growth stumps that Kevin couldn't get with the tractor! It made such a HUGE difference!!

They put in a big portion of the driveway and the pad in front of the shop. 

Miller and Mommy mowed - AND boy oh boy mowing is quite a project at the new property!!

They also laid the conduit for our electric...

And covered it all up!

And finished about 10 PM on Wednesday night - it was BUSY few days! I tried to get Dad to sleep for a few hours but he left for home against my will and made it home sometime Thursday morning.

It turned out so great! Thank you so much Dad for coming and helping us! It means so much! And thank you to Kevin for all the work you have put into the property the past few months. I love it here and can't wait to build our home and raise our boys here! We are blessed! 

Now if only my nerves can handle the next six or eight months... Wish us luck! Inspection is next week, we're set to close in a month {fingers crossed!} and then we'll start the building process!!
